Salon & Spa Policies

Appointments:
Available Monday through Saturday. Due to each designer and massage therapist being an independent contractor, each member of our team has a different schedule. Therefore, to have an appointment with your preferred designer/therapist, it is suggested that you pre-book all appointments to avoid confusion. Walk-ins are welcomed, and we look forward to seeing you!

Cancellations:
We realize that in our often hectic lives, appointments can be the last thing on your mind, We will gladly offer you a reminder call the day before your appointment so that you have one less thing to worry about. However, we do ask that you give us the courtesy of a 48-hour notice for all appointments. This allows us to assist other clients who may be waiting for appointments and would love the opportunity to have an earlier allotment.

For spa packages, a credit card or gift certificate number is required to reserve your spa time. If you fail to keep your appointment for any reason without a 48-hour notice, you will be charged for the full service. This is a courtesy for other guests wanting to make an appointment, as well as consideration of the service providers wages.

A late arrival may result in a shortened service time to accommodate the next client. Please try to arrive for your salon appointment 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled time, and 10-15 minutes prior to any spa times.

Children:
Children receiving services are welcomed at The Retreat Salon & Spa, however, very small children who need parental guidance must be accompanied by an adult not receiving services at the time. Our culture at The Retreat is to provide a consistent and relaxing environment for adults to take a break. Our salon & spa is just not an entertaining place for a child to be, and there are many things within arms reach that are not intended for small children. We wish everyone to be able to come to The Retreat Salon & Spa and enjoy our services without distraction.

Children under the age of 12 are not eligible for any spa treatments, which includes manicures/pedicures, at this time. No children under the age of 18 may be in the spa unless they are receiving services.


Environment:

We understand that sometimes our clients must take calls in the salon and/or spa. We do however, ask that you set your phones to silent, and encourage the use of texting rather than conversing if at all possible.

Gratuities:
All salon and spa services are non-inclusive of gratuities. We will graciously accept gratuities at your discretion.

Gift Certificates:
Gift certificates for services are available only at The Retreat Salon & Spa at this time, and in any denomination. Please call The Retreat Salon & Spa for more information.
